I am 43 years old and I’ve totally lost my sexual desire. I don’t know what is wrong with me. I just don’t feel anything. My husband is becoming nervous and we had sex few times, but I was like a wood and I felt even worse after. I am worried that is going to divorce me and/or start cheating, if he isn’t already. Any suggestion how to recover my sexual desire?

Couples today expect more out of sex and intimacy than before. Current divorce rates highlight how rarely our expectations are fulfilled, so if you are like most people you are having sexual difficulties. Sexual boredom, lack of intimacy, low desire, and passionless sex are common and inevitable developments in the evolution of your relationship. Underneath common sexual difficulties, the natural processes of self-development are often playing out and while not enjoyable. They do not necessarily mean something is going, or has gone, wrong. Anyway there are so many ways not to recover your sexual desire from various pills to counseling. Good luck!
