Aleve increases liver damage

Hi, I am 62 years old female and I am suffering from rheumatoid arthritis for some time already. Besides that my liver is already damaged with some other medications which I was taking before. When I visited my doctor last time he told me that my liver is even more damaged so I would like to know if that may be caused by Aleve.

Hi, every medication has more or less side effects on liver. If you already had problems with it I suggest you to discus it with your doctor and see if your therapy may be changed. Aleve is medication which is not recommended to the people who are suffering from liver disorders.
