This is a horrible way to lose weight. You are risking your health for something that is not even worth it. It is true when doctors say that when you deprive yourself of food and lose weight fast, you will gain the weight just as fast as u lost it. Now idk about u but personally i deff dont think that is safe!

the method of eating 2-4-6-8 will result in weightloss or, in the case of those already at a low weight, will help maintanence. a wiser choice is 3-5-7-8, working precisely the same way but allowing for more reasonable intake, better nutrition, and more room for much needed leeway. eating fruits and vegi's is always wise and keeps the metabolism cued, as well as adding protien wisely - the body and brain need protien and burns more fat stores when protien-fed. whether this is a healthy method of eating or not depends on how it is used - with fruits, vegis, protiens it is far healthier than a diet of thousands of calories from fastfood restaurants and dorito snacks. on the 6/7/8 days, add whole grains and healthy fats such as avacado, add dairy such as cheese, milk, yogurt. keep in mind eggwhites, fish, chicken, turkey, tofu, almond milk (or soy, rice, skim). there are many snack foods that are low cal - crave popcorn? use a plain ricecake with i cant believe its not butter spray and salt, warmed up for 20 seconds. yum! fat free fudge bars are only 35 calories. red or green grapes can be far more candy-like than you think. STAY HYDRATED and dont drink your calories in soda or beer or cocktails (most mixed drinks are between 200 and 800 calories each!)

Losing 15 pounds in a week is completely possible. I lost 25 pounds in a week by hiking 30 miles a day with a 40 pound pack eating 2000 calories a day. And I was just a little over normal weight at the time. Hiking is the BEST way to lose weight...it's impossible not to. Just get out for a week and do it. People noticed how much skinnier I was after it.

im 16 as well and heard about this diet off the internet. i started it a week ago and went from 160lbs to 154lbs so i lost about 6lbs. the first day can be rough but it only gets more exiting as you go through the cycle because you know that whatever you ate on the first day you can have two of on the second day three of that same thing on the third day etc. i think this diet is definitely worth doing.

The recommended calorie intake per day is 1600 kcal. Of course you'll lose weight from only eating 200 kcals a day...you're basically eating nothing..

The best way to lose weight is through a healthy balanced diet and exercise. This diet is not only unhealthy but dangerous...and thats a fact.

I am currently doing this diet, and it seems to be working, i am loosing on average 4lb a week Very Happy
my brother is trained as a personal trainer and recommended against it, but i seemed to be at a point where eating healthy wasnt really working anymore although by cutting down and eating healthy i did loose 3st in 1 year. I find the 2,4,6,8 think quite easy really, i think its much more easy if u keep busy and think about it less.
I also run 5km a day and i'm doing fine, just make sure u drink plenty of water and u wont feel at all lightheaded Very Happy
i also find that popadoms ((excuse the spelling) are a great snack coz they only have 33kcal and although they are high in carbs its fine to eat earlier on in the day and run to burn it off later. I would also recommend porridge as a good filler, it has around 200kcal with skimmed milk and fills you up for ever, and again i would recommend exercising after u eat it to ensure u burn the carbs. I would also say dont eat carbs after 5pm unless u are going to really work out. thanx x

hi, well i have just started this diet today and it is very difficult. i am only fifteen years old and mentally i find this diet very hard. i am constantly trying to resist temptation and the only thing keeping me going is knowing it will be over soon. i know the risks of this diet but i am only doing it short term to slim down for the summer.

I'm 5'7" 113 pounds, anything BUT "overweight or even obese", and I have lost 15 pounds in one week on this diet. Yes, I was 128 when I started and I have kept it off for well over a year now. Everyone's metabolism is different and to basically call someone a liar because you were unsuccessful isn't right.
