I'm searching for all the information I can find. My husband has a dr appt tomorrow for his 25+lb weight loss over the last 2 months. He feels hungry but after 2 bites feels sick and has to stop eating. He also has constipation/loose stools. He is fatigued and his naps are 3-4 hrs which is very unusual for him. He will be 42 this month. I just noticed this morning he has frequent urination also. I know this is all a sign of type 2 diabetes but also signs of cancer.

I'm leaving work early to go to his appt with him. He's not on to "mention" muchless stress all his symptoms. I going to request a colonoscopy and gastroscopy if the dr doesn't suggest them himself.

Has anyone had these symptoms and found out the cause to be something other than cancer? What test were done to determin the cause?

Thank You,
Vicky

I'm going through the same thing! I feel hungry, but after two or three bites the food tastes sour and it makes me feel nauseated. I'm also becoming more and more concerned about my weight loss. I've lost 20 lbs. over the past 3 months, and I am barely ever hungry anymore. My friends and family are starting to think I'm developing an eating disorder I've lost so much weight. I don't look gaunt or unhealthy but there is a noticeable difference in my size and all my clothes are baggy. I thought it was my birth control (it's side affects list weight loss, nausea, and loss of appetite) but it's lasting too long. All that is supposed to settle down within the first three months. Good Luck to your husband, and let me know if they find anything. My main concern at this point is Crohn's Disease because it runs in my family, but anything they find out would be helpful.
