Hello, I am a 20 year old female.. along with my constant terrible headaches, dizzy spells, blurred vision, heart murmer, and heart palpitations.. I have now started having really bad joint pain. Mainly in my knees. It started about a few weeks ago with my right knee, then it became both knees, now its my knees, my hips, ankles, neck, and even my wrists and elbows sometimes. Confused
I was working out and exercising a while ago, but I called my doctor and told them I have been having heart palpitations during my workouts, and they advised me to stop running till I get in to see the doctor. The problem is I really cant afford to go to a doctor right now and I have no health insurance. I having been really worried and stressed out about all my weird symptoms.. I'm wondering if maybe they are connected some how? I just dont feel right lately. Im scared.
I am only 20 years old and I cant walk up a flight of stairs without being in so much pain that I am almost in tears. HELP!! Crying or Very sad

For anyone else having similar problems.. I went to the doctor. Some possibilites are/were Anemia, a thyroid problem, vitamin defficiency, anxiety, or wolf parkinsons white, or PSVT.... they did an EKG and blood work on me. The EKG showed some arythmia.. and the blood work came back normal. So that pretty much rules out the anemia, thyroid, and vitamin defficiency. The doctor wants to do an echocardiogram next, and maybe put me on a heart monitor for a few weeks. He is thinking it is either anxiety or a heart condition that will only show up on the echo... I just cant remember the name of it right now! Rolling Eyes

I hope this info is helpful for anyone else experiencing these problems. I know it can be scary when things start happening with your heart. I dont have insurance and dont qualify for public aid because I am 20 with no kids and otherwise healthy. and I cant get approved for insurance b/c I have heart problems. People WILL work with you. The most important thing to do is get it checked out to make sure its nothing serious!! Smile

For about six months now, I have been experiencing some of your symptoms myself. I felt completely overwhelmed since I am a consideraby young mother of two beautiful boys (2&4). I started taking antidepressants because I could not handle the idea of having a significantly bad disease that could impact my life. I also did not have any medical coverage, but I quikly joined a plan. I have some peace of mind now, because the tests have all come back normal. Nevertheless, the symptoms are still there, especially couple days before my period and during. Since, I have strenghten my relationship with god. I have also changed somewhat my eating habits. I started taking supplements along wit the anti depressant. I'd like to think these things have helped. I also like to think the symptoms are hormonal related and are part of the women's natural body evolution. These thoughts have somewhat helped alleviate the frighting thoughts.
